Activation should typically take 10-20 seconds, never more than a minute. If appears to be taking longer than this, there’s probably something else wrong which would cause it to eventually fail.

With MyEclipse 2015 we moved to a Tern based inference engine from the older JSDT engine.
Beyond MyEclipse 2015 CI 12 and in MyEclipse 2016 / 2017, JS performance is far improved out of the box so no additional tweaking should be required.

Can you please clarify if you have followed the steps suggested in this link to improve the performance in MyEclipse 2016 ?

Please share with us more details about the paths set in the tsconfig.json and how you are accessing it in the typescript file. -

Please share with us more details about the project, the .log file located in the workspace dir/.metadata/.log along with the MyEclipse version details. Also share with us the server and version details.

Chan, Are you seeing false warnings when deleting the code or correct warnings but with a wrong font color?
Could you please report the issue on our forums, along with the screenshots and the version of MyEclipse you are working with to help us investigate further?
