How can we make MyEclipse fun and more usable?

Imported Angular Project missing entry in Server tab

When you import something like the angular-material-course project into eclipse, you dont get an entry under Angular CLI servers!

BTW - isn't there a better place to post bugs ?

Hi Ian. This is really a forum for suggestions about improvements to MyEclipse (we also have a similar feedback forum for Webclipse/Angular IDE). For problems and help, please use our support forums: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/

For this particular issue, our Angular tooling in MyEclipse doesn't yet support Angular 6 fully. You can work round this by creating an angular-cli.json file in the root of the project. This would make it appear in the CLI servers, allowing you to run it. The file name was changed in Angular 6, hence the problem (note, creating a file ".angular-cli.json" - with a leading period, will also work).

You might also want to read this post about some new tooling which can enhance your development experience when creating web apps: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/use-codemix-to-improve-your-angular-dev-experience-right-now/
